Android P 9.0 Device List – List of the devices which will get Android 9.0 update: The Developer Preview of Android P just dropped this month and tech enthusiasts can’t stop talking about it. The Developer Preview is restricted to only Pixel series right now, but image flashing gets you access on other models too. While the official name of Android P still remains a mystery (with “Pie” taking the lead), the features are not so clear either.
From what could be seen in the Developer Preview, Google is going full-frontal with Material Design 2.0, and the rounded icons with card-like features confirms this. The notifications are simply amazing on the Pixel devices. The Preview gave us a fair idea of the features to come, some of which might be:
- Support for multiple and foldable screen, like in Galaxy S9.
- Major updates for phone and app notifications
- Support for ‘notch’ design.
- Smaller image sizes, either via HEIC or Google’s own technology.
- Better features for DND and call blocking
The Developer Preview is just the first, and three more would follow. Like always, Developer Previews are meant mostly to check for compatibility, bugs and public perception, and major changes follow that. The Consumer Preview will be announced most likely in the Google I/O this summer and would be available for distribution only by August. A lot could change by then, so there is a lot to watch out for. Today we share the Android P 9.0 Device list i.e. List of phones getting Android P 9.0 update.

Updated!
Considering that the OnePlus version of Oreo is actually a Frankenstein mix of Nougat and Oreo coding that requires constant bug fixes because the non-standard coding keeps breaking third party apps saying that OnePlus phones will receive Android P is misleading. OnePlus phones will receive something that OnePlus calls Android P which is definitely not the same thing.
We’ll have to see that in future. Anyway, appreciate your thoughts.
